FORBIDDEN PLANET (DESIGN DESIGN Software, 1985)

"I'm a wanted man you know".

"Oh yes"?

"Yes, I used to rule the Galaxy".

"I think you've had too much to drink".

"No, No they called me the Evil Lord"!

"The Evil Lord"?

"Yes, in the days before that revolution.."

"And"?

"And..."

"Yes"?

"Hmmmm. . ."

"Well, get on with it".

"... But I've got a way to get back in power, a statement so
devastating that it proves that I'm the only one fit to rule".

"Oh yes, what is it"?

"I'm not telling, it's hidden somewhere not to be revealed until
this hatefull game has sold enough copies to cover my bar bill".

"Oh, go on, I'll buy you a pint".

"NO, NO! NO!!! Yes, I'll tell you where it is. It's on the
Forbidden Planet". (Pauses for dramatic effect).

"Where? Never heard of it"!

"Oh never mind, you'll find it but it won't do you any good".

"Why"?

"Well, first it's split-up, coded and defended".

"Easy! What else"?

"Simon Bratell designed the defences".

"Ugg"!!!! (swoon... thump).

"Oh look, someone's left their drink. Ho hum, now where was I...
oh yes, I'm a wanted man you know".

INSTRUCTIONS

You are at the controls of an advanced battle tank... oops, sorry
I'll start again.

You are on the surface of the Forbidden Planet. Your mission is
to locate the parts of the Evil Lords final message which are
spread over the planets surface. However, they are protected by a
sophisticated and as yet unknown coding system which you must
crack.

The Planets defence systems consist of:-

A.A Towers.............Tricky.

Guided Missiles...Very tricky.

There is also a system of force field networks which will
restrict your directional movement and must be negotiated.

All key and joystick options are fully definable within the game.

Forbidden Planet was written under duress by someone who looks a
bit like Simon Bratell, aided and abetted by Simon Jackson and
Keith Jordan type people... And is released totally against their
wishes.
