Dawn breaks over a high security prison. But all is not well.
Last night the inmates rioted-smashing cells and offices, and building booby
traps to help avoid recapture.
The prison authorities have become impatient. They want to send in the riot
squad-but this will result in a blood bath. The situation is tense and
getting worse by the minute.
The only way to avoid the ensuing carnage is to send in a snatch squad to
find the seven ring leaders, and negotiate with them to surrender to police
custody.
You are that snatch squad. You have been given only one chance to diffuse
the situation-and avert a massacre.
Features: -
* Authentic graphics
* Addictive gameplay
* booby traps
* complex subgames

The game

Spectrum/Amstrad: Select either joystick or keyboard to start the game. (The
keys are redefinable for left,right,up,down,fire and pause). You must make
your way up to the roof in various sections of the prison, via some of the
prison cells, where you may be able to find one of the seven ringleaders,
whom you must negotiate with and lead to safety. You do this by catching up
with the prisoner, and then solving a sub game. The subgame consists of a
grid of nine letters which make up the word porridge. The letters will be
scrambled, and you must move a pointer using up/down/left/right, to any row
or column, and press fire to move the column or row in the direction of the
pointer, until some of the letters are in the right order. The number of
letters required will flash at the start. If you complete the subgame, you
must then lead the prisoner to the left edge of that section of the roof,
where he will be lowered to safety by a hydraulic lift.

Scattered around the prison will be some useful items-remember if you run
out of ammo, you can get rid of rioters by jumping up and kicking them in
the head.
Use down to enter a door or climb through a window. Also, watch out for the
booby traps that the prisoners have set up, and be careful of the prisoners
sitting on the rooftops throwing slates.

The game ends when the seven ringleaders have come down from the roof, at
that point the other rioters will be forced to give up their protest.

The game can be paused by pressing the enter key (except during a subgame).
Restart by pressing fire.
