Defend against the Cosmo Gang baddies which enter in patterns and join an attack formation. Keep the baddies from stealing energy in the challenging stages.

Released in March 1992 in Japan (even if the titlescreen says 1991).


This is the video version of a popular novelty redemption game of the same name.


A Cosmo Gang - The Video machine was shown at the 2003 classic arcade games show 'California Extreme' in San Jose, California.


Victor Entertainment released a limited-edition soundtrack album for this game (Cosmo Gang - The Video : Namco Game Sound Express Vol.8 - VICL-15018) on 24/03/1993.

The playable games are now Assault, Ordyne, Mirai Ninja, Phelios, Valkyrie No Densetsu, Finest Hour, Burning Force, Marvel Land, Dragon Saber and Cosmo Gang the Video.

- 10th October 1999: Keith Wilkins sent in another Namco System 2 driver with a lot of optimization and Cosmo Gang is now playable.

- 0.35b10: Added Cosmo Gang the Video (Testdriver).

- 3rd April 1999: Keith Wilkins sent an updated Namco System 2 driver, but absolutely nothing works except Cosmo Gang, which still has garbled graphics and no sound.
