MAME Info:

0.68 [Bryan McPhail, David Graves]

WIP:

- 0.135u4: Added 93c46.164 EEPROM (128 bytes). EEPROM device now looks for a matching memory region to fetch the default values from. Fixed bug in ROM loader that would change the memory region flags to match devices with no address bus. Updated Ground Effects to use the new default loading scheme [Aaron Giles].

- 0.135u2: Fabio Priuli updated the Ground Effects driver to use EEPROM device. smf hooked up eepromdev.c using PORT_READ_LINE_DEVICE/PORT_WRITE_LINE_DEVICE in Ground Effects. Output ports are now affected by IP_ACTIVE_HIGH/IP_ACTIVE_LOW (eepromdev.c has active low cs). The previous value for callbacks in inptport.c is now tracked per field. This saves recalculating it for PORT_CHANGED & conditional fields wouldn't always get updated correctly. Tidied up eepromdev.c interface.

- 0.131u1: Angelo Salese merged memory maps in Ground Effects and fixed wrong default NVRAM settings, especially about the lap number (1) and the coin/credit settings (1/2).

- 0.125u2: Phil Bennett fixed black pixel patches present in the TC0100SCN fg layer of Ground Effects.

- 0.106u8: Fixed ES5505 clock speed to 15238050 Hz.

- 0.102u5: Mamesick fixed acceleration port.

- 0.68: Bryan McPhail and David Graves added Ground Effects / Super Ground Effects (Japan) (Taito 1992).

- 15th April 2003: Bryan McPhail and David Graves wrote a driver for Ground Effects.

- 20th February 2003: Guru - Bryan McPhail and David Graves preliminary emulate Ground Effects and presents a few in-game pics.

- 15th February 2003: Guru - Ground Effects (Taito 1993) arrived.
