mslug6: MAME ROM Information.


History:

Metal Slug 6 (c) 2006 SNK Playmore.


Negotiations have broken off and hostages have been taken! Your country needs a highly trained mercenary to neutralize the enemy and free the hostages. Metal Slug 6 is a 1 or 2 player game with continuous buy-in. It is the first installment of the series developed on Sega's arcade hardware system. Metal Slug 6 includes 6 characters, with two new being Ralph and Clark from the King of Fighters series. Plus, two new player control buttons have been added to allow for greater control over the action!

Ralf and Clark first appeared in "Ikari Warriors" even before King of Fighters.

- 0.141u2: Guru added Metal Slug 6 (Sega / SNK Playmore 2006). Cah4e3 fixed Metal Slug 6 ROM mirror, game is fully playable.

- 27th January 2011: R. Belmont - Guru dumped Metal Slug 6 for Atomiswave, and with a little help from Cah4e3 I got it going in MAME.

- 27th January 2011: Smitdogg - Guru dumped Metal Slug 6.

- 14th December 2010: Guru - Metal Slug 6 arrived recently. Thanks to Tom from wintery Switzerland.

- 30th September 2010: Smitdogg - ANY started looking into dumping Metal Slug 6 but it uses "the dumper's nightmare" SSOP70 roms so it might be a while (nobody can dump them yet).
