After breaking free from your cell in the POW camp, you must fight your way through the entire enemy army using your fists and whatever weapons you can find on dead soldiers.

- 9th February 2003: Acho A. Tang fixed various problems in the uPD7759 sound chip emulation, including a crash in the System16 driver and missing and/or incorrect sounds in TMNT, P.O.W. and '88 Games.

- 17th November 1999: Bryan McPhail fixed a palette bug in POW.

- 0.35RC2: Changed description of clone 'P.O.W. - Prisoners of War (Japan)' to 'Datsugoku - Prisoners of War (Japan)'.

- 0.35b2: Bryan McPhail fixed the title screen in P.O.W. Replaced ADPCM sound with uPD7759.

- 0.34RC2: Changed YM3812 clock speed to 4MHz.

- 0.34b8: Bryan McPhail added P.O.W. (US) (SNK 1988) and clone (Japan). Known issues: Wrong ADPCM samples are sometimes played. Priority is sometimes wrong, eg, end of first level - player goes behind. Ladder instead of in front. Title screen is wrong (view bottom layer with TRANSPARENCY_NONE to see). Japanese text is wrong (I can't find bank select). A bit slow.
