- Yachiyo "Space Stranger 2" is the colour version of Space Stranger, board has Stranger 2 written on it.

- 0.140u2: MASH updated the Space Stranger overlay layout by adding the overlay for the Upright version, which looks different to the Cocktail.

- 0.136u2: Atari Ace converted Space Stranger to use driver_data structure.

- 0.133u1: Renamed (sstrngr2) to (sstrangr2).

- 0.115: Zsolt Vasvari moved Space Stranger/Space Stranger 2 into its own driver and fixed cocktail mode. Removed SN76477 and Samples. Changed visible area to 224x256 and VSync to 60Hz. Added 'Cabinet' dipswitch.

- 0.114u4: Space Stranger 2 (sstrngr2) is now clone of Space Stranger.

- 0.113u2: Changed 8080 CPU clock speed to 1996800 Hz, visible area to 224x260 and VSync to 59.541985 Hz.

- 0.53: Mike Haaland and David Haywood added Space Stranger (Yachiyo 1978) and Space Stranger 2 (Yachiyo 1979).

- 30th July 2001: Mike Haaland and David Haywood added another version of Space Stranger.

- 21st May 2001: David Haywood added Space Stranger to the 8080bw driver.

- 15th May 2001: Guru - Purchased Space Stranger from a PCB shop in Japan with the help of Team Japump in February.
