As controller of Challenger, your task is to destroy all aliens and quads. When you succeed in clearing a ground, you proceed to the next ground. There are four different grounds making up one level. Your fuel is continuously depleted, but can be restored by destroying fuel dumps. you lose a ship if you run out of fuel. Rockets, quads, pips and mutants are all out to get you though you have an unlimited supply of missiles and bombs and a limited supply of INVISO (shields) in your defence. Quads appear on levels 2-20; on levels 3-20 quads throw out pips. There is also WARP, which instantly moves you up three levels, but you'll have to find out how! There are over 200 levels with every 4th level being a dogfight between you and the quads and mutants.
