Psycho City sets you as a cop in a crime-ridden future New York, in which gangs of gunmen and muggers have left everyone unsafe. The Mafia own most of the cops, and Chicago mobster Mr. Big has started to muscle in by sending his hitmen to kill your family. This gives you three big objectives in life - shoot out all the gunmen, collect the stolen goods and money and return them to the bank vault, and finally locate Mr. Big and finish him off.
Gameplay is viewed isometrically with flick-screen movement, starting from the bank vault's location, and allows the player to hold up to three objects at a time, plus his gun, which needs ammo to be collected for use. A close-up shows the loss of one of your three lives. |
