| The Ring of Darkness is an RPG game that was intended to be the first part of a larger saga. The plot owes a great deal to the Lord of the Rings novels with your protagonist being tasked with destroying Shedir — the greatest of the four rings of power. The player moves across the map and types their commands into a text below. It is similar in many ways to the third Ultima game in terms of how the game is laid out and plays. |
