| Like many games that followed the Donkey Kong line, your objective in Inca Gold is to reach the top platform, where a large creature throws enemies in your direction. The mission of climbing on top of the platform is very difficult to accomplish, but don't be fooled into thinking that this is a positive point of this game. The enemies blinking on the screen and your character's botched jumps make your goal nearly impossible to reach, and the experience itself very frustrating. As the games industry was still in its infancy in the 80s, there weren't many rules regarding game copying. For this reason we see examples such as Inca Gold, which was produced by Funvision and copied in other versions such as Spider Maze and Pac Kong. |
