Mission: 'Simply' repair the door control panels before proceeding to the exit. How: You have a gun, several access cards and a certain amount of ammo.The access cards are needed to open doors. If you run out, you won't be able to open any. In most rooms you will see lockers. The blue ones may contain access cards, more ammo or an extra life (very useful!). They may also be empty. They are opened by approaching them. The orange lockers contain flame throwers which last for some time before running out of fuel. They are not refuelable. Aliens can be killed with either the flame thrower or with your normal gun. In many rooms there are alien eggs. These can also be destroyed with either weapon. You will notice that some are empty, while others are closed. The closed eggs may hatch at any time, so producing another alien. If you open a locker containing ammo, you will only be allowed to recharge your gun if you have used up a certain amount of ammunition. You will be awarded points for destroying aliens and eggs and a bonus at the end of your mission. You will also encounter pools of green slime in places. The slime is highly acidic. The only thing which will disperse it is a flame thrower. In one of the rooms, you will see two control panels with colour coded sockets in the top. You can re-activate each one by inserting a colour coded circuit board. You will find the boards lying on the floor nearby. To pick them up, simply walk up to them and press space. Pressing space a second time will drop them. To install them into the panels, carry them to the correct panel, face it, then press space. The panel will now re-activate. After you have completed your mission, proceed to the exit point. It is marked by a large red cross. |
