Wall Street Wizard - Atari ST| Game Manual: | N/A | | Game Music: | N/A |
Wall Street Wizard is a German stock market simulation. Up to 6 players compete against each other or computer-controlled opponents. The game supports local multiplayer via turns as well as via null-modem cable and modem.
Players build a character by distributing points in 4 categories (appearance, money, health, and luck) thus slightly modifying their game strategies. Most of the game takes place on the trading floor where they buy and sell shares in companies while the clock ticks (about 12 minutes of real-time per game per player!).
Wall Street Wizard attempts to simulate the excitement and bidding of a real trading floor. Once trading is complete, each player can invest in strategic activities such as gathering information through newspapers and economic forecasts, investigating or sabotaging other players and improving their health or appearance. The game ends when the first player has achieved a freely fixed goal, such as accumulating a certain amount of wealth. |
