Dreadnought is a detailed naval warfare simulation set between 1895 and 1918, where two rival fleets clash at sea. You begin by building your fleet, using a 100-million-pound budget to choose from five ship types with varying costs, speed, and armament. Once the fleets are ready, the battle begins, with the black fleet advancing from the west and the white from the east. You control your ships individually or in divisions across a battlefield divided into 1000-yard squares. Communication, line of sight, and the status of your flagship are critical. If ships move off the map or your flagship is sunk, the conditions of engagement change dramatically.
