| "Gary Lineker's Superstar Soccer" is a six-a-side football game where players can take on the role of a striker, goalkeeper (C64 only), or manager. The ball stays close to the player, who can pass, shoot, or head it. Goalkeepers are penalized for holding the ball too long – a rule later introduced in real football. Match length is adjustable from 6 to 90 minutes, and fouls are fully implemented. While the cassette version only offers single matches, the disk version includes a full season with 64 English teams across four divisions, with the option to play a 7- or 15-game season. |
