TV commercial from another systemImpossible Mission - Atari 7800 version shown because a Commodore 64 commercial is unavailable. |
| "Impossible Mission" is an action-packed platformer with puzzle elements where the player takes on the role of a secret agent trying to stop the evil Professor Elvin Atombender. Suspected of tampering with national security computers, Atombender must be thwarted by infiltrating his fortress while avoiding deadly robots. The goal is to collect different pieces of a password needed to access the main control room. The mission is time-sensitive, giving players only six hours to complete it. Every failure costs valuable minutes — either by losing a life or using the portable computer's help function. Since robots, rooms, and puzzle pieces are randomly generated at the start of each game, the replay value remains high. |
