| "Funturatum" is a turn-based management game on the planet Whorn. The goal is to collect four pieces of the magical artifact Funtolmin and combine them with a fifth piece, which the mayor sells for a lot of gold. Four rival families each own one piece. The game takes place on a randomly generated 174x174 grid. Each player has a ship with a crew. 20 moves are possible per round, expandable to 31 with a better ship. Players move across the sea, start expeditions on the mainland, find plantations, grow twelve different crops, build facilities, set up defenses and trade. In cities, goods can be sold, crew members recruited and ships purchased. You can play in taverns or transport passengers. Expeditions lead to treasures or enemy properties that can be conquered. Sabotage and random events complement the game. |
