One bat, one ball - that sounds simple, but it's really fun. In the fast-paced world of gaming, however, this concept is expanded: power-ups, crazy levels and collision detection are intended to provide variety. But as you play, it quickly becomes clear that not everything is right. Some levels are boring, others are stupid, and the fun of the game falls by the wayside. The controls work well, but are sometimes too sensitive. Often you feel like you're losing a ball, not because of incompetence, but because the game has already decided that you're losing a life. It may sound paranoid, but the feeling remains. The game starts off exciting and offers good playability, but it quickly becomes repetitive and frustrating. One positive point to mention is the user-friendly level editor, which still gives the game a certain appeal.
