| Soccer Rivals is a board game style soccer management game where you compete against two other players (human or AI) and try to lead your team from Division 4 to the Division 1 championship. There are 32 teams to choose from and five difficulty levels. The playing field runs along the screen and is made up of squares with different symbols. These allow you to buy or sell players, train them or adjust infrastructure such as stadium capacity, cameras and youth team. Some squares bring random events that affect finances or team. Another symbol leads to an arcade mini-game where money can be won by hitting a target. After each move, the lineup is adjusted before the next match is simulated. |
