| Giddy was wandering around when he was suddenly sucked into a vortex and transported to a strange forest. Now he must find his way home, avoiding dangers and solving puzzles. Wibble World Giddy is an Amiga freeware clone of Dizzy and its sequels, intended as a parody. Again, you play as an anthropomorphic egg that collects objects to solve puzzles. There are two counters in the top left of the screen, one for lives and one for coins, and an energy bar in the top right. When the egg touches enemies or dangerous environments, the energy bar decreases, and when it is depleted, the egg explodes with a "SPLAT!" and the player loses a life. Below is a bar that displays the inventory. In use mode, the player can move the joystick left or right to browse the inventory and use the fire button to deploy the selected object. |
