In Engage Errands, the player commands a unit of angelic fighters. These fighters may look like pretty girls, but they are all angels, sent by the Goddess to Earth to stop a terrible disaster: the evil witch Guendola is terrorising the country.
In this game, there is no exploration and no movement outside the battles. Battles take place on top-down screens where the player directs the angelic girls in a turn-by-turn fashion. For example, a knight can walk further than a sorceress, but can only attack at close range. Attacks are presented in short animated sequences. Experience is gained with each strike, so it's possible to level up in the middle of a battle. Sometimes armour and rings can be found, which can later be equipped on the girls. |
