Hiroki, a Japanese teenager, is interested in martial arts and has to look after his little sister. Their older brother Yoichi has gone abroad. Although he had announced his return, he disappeared under mysterious circumstances. Hiroki and his friends eventually discover that an international syndicate of supernatural criminals is linked to an even darker power that is about to bring about the apocalypse on Earth.
Only You can be seen as a hybrid of RPG and visual novel, with choices affecting the storyline and the hero's relationship with various female characters. Locations are represented by anime-style still images, and all interactions are via menu commands. A large part of the game involves selecting locations on a city map and triggering long cutscenes. |
