Naoto Matsumoto is a young man suffering from memory loss: he can't remember anything about his life before the age of fourteen. Apparently, both his parents died and he was taken in by another family. One rainy day, on a journey through the countryside, Naoto's car comes to a dead end and he and his half-sister are invited to spend the night in a large isolated house. Naoto witnesses increasingly strange and violent events and begins to recall lost memories.
Zatsuon Ryoiki is a psychological horror game. The player's choices lead to different scenes and different endings. There are eighteen endings, most of which involve a violent death. The game keeps track of the player's progress and encourages them to replay several times to discover the story in its entirety. |
