In Captain Knick Knack, you take on the role of the eponymous captain, who seems to fly through the sky in the form of what appears to be a giant set of robotic genitals!
At the start of the game, the captain is a large, slow sprite, but his movements and the extent of his firepower can be improved by collecting the various bonuses left behind by destroyed enemies. He is also equipped with 3 shields per life. These shields give you 15 precious seconds of invulnerability while the Captain retreats into his shell and can destroy enemies (and damage bosses) simply by touching them. |
