"Discover the Alphabet" has two modes, "Beginner's Alphabet" and "Alphabet Master". It is allowed to exercise both together with a friend at one PC, and against a computer; in the latter case, for the opponent, you can choose one of three incarnations of AI of varying degrees of ingenuity, from "IM Dumb" to "Dr. Genius". The next game setting is an optional time limit for thinking (also one of three in duration). Finally, each of the two mini-games also has three varieties of increasing difficulty: "Beginner's Alphabet" has "Letters and Abbreviations", words up to four letters in size and words with more than four letters, while "Alphabet Master" are just long enough English words, but the level is "Easy", "Medium" or "Hard".
