Still, the text strategy published for DOS is almost entirely text-based, but with elements of an arcade, based on the works of Anne McCaffrey about the dragons of Pern. For a successful game, it is desirable to get acquainted with the original source, because without this it is difficult to figure out the plot. But in general, everything is clear - through the dragons we fight with Threads, not allowing them to penetrate the atmosphere of Pern, and at the same time we are trying to get our allies.

The game consists of two parts - the strategy itself (and, interestingly, exclusively diplomatic) and an arcade in which the dragon under your control destroys the Threads. At the beginning of the game, you can set the level of difficulty, but it affects solely the number of Threads you have to fight with (or you can disable this part of the game altogether). Formally, the game is turn-based, but during each turn, all actions are performed in real time (with the possibility of setting a pause). The game is finite, but the number of moves, after which it ends, is set by the player himself. Victory condition - a set of a certain number of points received for the conclusion of unions and the destruction of threads.
