Legend Of Kyrandia - Book One, The - Microsoft DOS
The Legend of Kyrandia is the first in the trilogy. In this game, you play as Brandon, grandson of Kallak, a sorcerer from the kingdom of Kyrandia. Malcolm, a psychotic buffoon imprisoned in the past by Kallak, has freed himself and wants to take over the country and exact his revenge. He turns Kallak into stone.
Brandon returns home shortly afterwards to discover that his grandfather has been turned to stone. He learns from a messenger from the Earth Kingdom that he has been chosen to undertake a journey that will rid that kingdom of Malcolm and his evil.
You now have a goal and a quest to prove that you are not only a hero, but also a worthy heir to the crown.
Along your journey, you'll collect many items and learn to master magic. Available spells include vanish, heal, summon ice to fire and transform into a will-o'-the-wisp. |
