Test your mettle in three scenarios.

Approach to Leningrad: August 1941 to December 1941
Covers the German offensive from the Luga River line to the battle of Tikhvin, where the Russians prevented the linkup with the Finns. Several strategic options were available to the Germans; Attack from Luga to Leningrad directly, attack at Novgorod and then drive north to Leningrad, or attack at Luga east and then north to Leningrad.

Siege and Starvation: July 1943 to October 1943
Covers the Russian attack to try to remove the German threat to cut off the city of Leningrad supply from the overland route just south of Lake Ladoga. The German defense was succesful due to stockpiling of artillery ammunition, and rapid shifting of German infantry units to hot spots in time. The Leningrad siege would continue, although the Germans were weakened.

Lifting the Siege: December 1943 to March 1944
Covers the overhwelming Russian attack that broke the 900 day siege of Leningrad. The Germans were forced to retreat to the Panther Line at Lake Peipus, and skillfully averted disaster without major pockets or breakthroughs into Estonia and Latvia.
