The Runaway program is a simple, fun program for children between 3 and 8
years old. Runaway is educational in that it encourages children to learn the
location of the keys on the PC keyboard.

Runaway simply displays the alphabet across the top the the screen. Then
letters at random begin falling to the bottom of the screen. If one of the
letters piles up to the top of the screen, "You Lose". By hitting the correct
key for a falling letter, that letter is highlighted and removed from play. If
all the letters of the alphabet are correctly "caught" before any one piles up
to the top, "You Win". You can quit at any time by pressing the Esc key
(followed by pressing 'Y' in response to the "do you want to quit" prompt.

Runaway adjusts to your display type. If you have a VGA it uses 640 x 480 16
color mode. If you have an EGA it uses 640 x 350 16 color mode. If you have a
CGA, it uses 320 x 200 4 color mode. IF you have a Hercules, it uses 720 x 348
2 color mode.
