| In this third instalment of the series, the player takes on the role of Malcolm, the evil buffoon from the first two episodes. Malcolm is accused of turning people to stone (which is true) and murdering the King and Queen, which he did not do. At the end of the first adventure, Brandon had turned Malcolm into a statue, but a violent bolt of lightning freed him. Your mission will be to prove his innocence in the face of these murder charges. To do this, Malcolm must first leave the kingdom of Kyrandia. After a brief passage to Cat Island, he boards a pirate ship. Those pesky pirates then sell him back to his enemy, Brandon, who exiles him to the edge of the world. Malcolm has to travel through hell to get back to Kyrandia, where the kingdom has been taken over by pirates. |
