God Mode takes place in the afterlife after the protagonist's untimely death. Far from finding himself in the tranquil plains of paradise, he actually finds himself in the depths of the underworld, at the gates of a labyrinth that Hades himself designed.
To avoid eternal damnation in this place of perdition and win a new life, the player must cross the labyrinth by eliminating the army of undead in the pay of the master of the house.
