Mass Effect 3 – From Ashes is a downloadable content (DLC) pack that expands the story of Mass Effect 3. In this mission, Commander Shepard travels to Eden Prime, where the human colony has been attacked by Cerberus forces. Their goal is to seize a mysterious Prothean artifact. Shepard must infiltrate the colony, fight back Cerberus, and recover the artifact.
The DLC introduces Javik, the last surviving Prothean, as a permanent squad member. His unique perspective reveals crucial insights into the fall of the Prothean empire and the ancient war against the Reapers. Alongside the new companion, players gain access to the Particle Rifle, additional outfits for squad members, and new war assets.
