The player takes on the role of Rance, a young man who works in the office of a private detective. One day, the boss has a new assignment. A young girl called Hikari, a student at Paris high school, has been missing for several days. The player's mission is to find the girl and report any mysterious circumstances he may come across in the course of his investigation.
The game is played from a first-person perspective and is controlled by a menu. The player can navigate his character around the city by choosing directions, examining locations and entering buildings. Outside the city, the player also battles monsters. Battles are turn-based. Players can equip weapons and armour, use items and gain experience points in battle. |
