Hiwako, an ordinary spoilt Japanese teenager, is approached one day by a talking bird called Niké. It tells her that she possesses unique powers that transform her into the glorious warrior Artemis. As Artemis, it is now her duty to protect her hometown from a demonic invasion.
The game features village exploration like many RPGs of the time, but is actually an action game with light adventure elements. For most of the game, the player controls Artemis and two other heroines (Aquarius and Minerva). Attacks are carried out by pressing one button for an attack on the main character and another for a simultaneous attack on the other two girls. The player can change leader at any time. |
