Emit is a visual novel, divided into three parts, which has been designed to help Japanese people study English. The game can be played in English or Japanese. There are two game modes: Story mode and English game mode. The story mode is the main game divided into chapters where players can follow the storyline and do a number of exercises after each chapter. In the story mode, players can interrupt the game at any time to look up a term they did not understand or to change the language.
The second game is about Yuri's journey to another world where she ages by one year every day and has to find a way to return to her own world.
