Thanks to Earth's Star Wars defence system, there hasn't been a war in years. The problem is that a race of aliens is using the system to destroy eight major cities. The player, who takes the role of Captain Nick Diamond, must pilot an EagleClassE751 over the Earth and destroy the aliens and satellites. By collecting 1,000 points, Nick obtains an upgrade that enables him to use dual lasers. During the battle, Nick will be informed of the continent he is on.
Defcom is a 3D shooter with a third-person perspective from the back of the ship. Aliens and satellites approach the ship in the distance. The Earth is visible at the bottom of the screen. |
