You are evading the police who are after you for industrial espionage, a charge trumped up by your employers to stop you revealing certain illegal activities of theirs.
Making a hasty exit you arrive at the spaceport, before the police have had time to put a block on it, with the intention of fleeing to Mars where you hope to be able to contact a friend who may be able to help you.
If the police get you you'll end up in prison.
If the company agents get you you'll end up dead! |
