Whilst the 10 members of the Supreme Earth Council were travelling to attend peace negotiations with the powerful Zigantean Empire, their ship was intercepted by a powerful raiding force from the mysterious Xevatron Federation. The accompanying force of Earth's intergalactic cruisers was completely destroyed and the Council memberts have been captured.
You are the Commander of the only SDS (Space Defence Squad) cruise force capable of responding quickly enough to track the fleeing Xevatron force and rescue the Council members. Should the Earth Council fail to attend the vital peace negotiation with the Ziganteans, hostilities will resume. Speed is of the essence if you are to complete the 3 phases of the rescue mission in time to avert war. |
