Final Fantasy II is a remake of the original game for the NES (Famicom). The original version was only released in Japan, but this PS1 version was made available outside of Japan in Final Fantasy Origins.
The game itself features enhanced graphics compared to the original game, as well as new CG movies.
It is a turn-based Role-Playing Game, in which the player controls four characters traveling in towns, dungeons and the World Map.
The characters progress by increasing their stats at the end of battles, depending on what actually happened in the battle, instead of gaining levels. |
