You play as Hiryu, a member of the Striders brotherhood, a kind of modern day chivalric order, fighting against the sinister "Grand Master Meio", who wishes to conquer the world. Your brotherhood decimated, you are one of the only Striders still alive to seek revenge. The game takes the form of a platformer. Armed with your lightsaber (Cypher), you will have to eliminate numerous enemies in various levels ranging from the Soviet Union to the rainforest. You can also hang on to the walls with a metal hook.
Occasionally, bonuses obtained by destroying capsules will allow you to increase the range of your sword or to be accompanied by a small robot destroying your enemies. We appreciate the spectacular movements of the character drawing his weapon or spinning in the air while jumping. |
