Shoot the Bullet is a 2D vertically-scrolling danmaku game. It is installment 9.5 in the Toho series.
Aya Shameimaru is a tengu reporter who wants to take several pictures of the bosses from previous games. Shoot the Bullet does not have regular enemies as she only fights bosses. But instead of attacking them she must avoid bullets and she doesn't shoot. To complete levels she uses her camera to photograph the enemy's bullets. When bullets are photographed, they disappear and a score is awarded based on the different types of shots. The camera must be charged to work. The bosses in the game come from the previous titles The Embodiment of Scarlet Devil to Phantasmagoria of Flower View. |
