beezer: MAME ROM Information.

History:

Beezer (c) 1982 Tong Electronic.

Players trap dangerous killer bees. The precise trackball control is used to maneuver through the honeycomb pushing gates to create six sided traps. The bees are lured into the trap and shut in. Eating bee eggs before they hatch gives Beezer super powers to eat bees. However, there are dangers of getting stung or trapped. A winning play strategy keeps players coming back to Beezer.

MAME Info:

0.37b8 [Mathis Rosenhauer]

WIP:

- 0.144u2: Angelo Salese removed deprecat.h usage from Beezer. Converted Beezer to proper vertical screen orientation, being originally a Galaxian conversion kit that's quite obvious as well [Angelo Salese]. Changed visible area to 240x288.

- 0.141u2: Lord Nightmare fixed missing sound channel in Beezer; sound should now be more or less correct, but the noise source still isn't accurate yet. Improved Beezer volume DAC handling to be accurate to hardware. Beezer now uses correct MM5837 noise source (clock may be a bit off though), and now has MM5837 properly hooked to audio via. May still be some issues with intermittent noise updating which need fixing. - 0.141u1: Lord Nightmare added preliminary working sound to Beezer. Added missing XYZ latch readback on Beezer, gets sound closer to working. Documentation update to Beezer for facilitating future sound work. Replaced DAC sound with 'beezer SFX'.

- 0.126u3: Andrew Gardner merged memory maps in Beezer.

- 0.123u6: RansAckeR added DIP locations to Beezer.

- 0.37b8: Mathis Rosenhauer added Beezer (set 1) (Tong Electronic 1982) and clone (set 2).

- 27th September 2000: Mathis Rosenhauer cleaned up the Beezer driver a bit.

- 21st September 2000: Mathis Rosenhauer sent in a driver for Beezer.
