tetrisp2: MAME ROM Information.


History:

Tetris Plus 2 (c) 1997 Jaleco.


This game features some very nice gameplay. There's the addition of an ingame character who wanders on the blocks while you play. Secondly there's a storyline for the game. You get different bonuses on your journey as you keep going on. The game gets quite challenging after you've played some levels.

- 21st April 2003: David Haywood fixed the bad graphics in Tetris Plus 2 (MS32 version) with the correct ROMs.

- 0.62: Added Tetris Plus 2 (MegaSystem 32 Version) (Testdriver).

- 25th September 2002: David Haywood sent in a preliminary Jaleco Mega System 32 driver with support for Desert War, Gratia, Game Tengoku - The Game Paradise, Tetris Plus, Best Bout Boxing and F1 Super Battle, although the graphics emulation is incomplete and there is no sound.

- 0.57: Moved gfx3 rom to gfx4 and added new gfx3 rom.

- 0.37b14: Added sound1 rom from clone (Japan) to (World?).

- 0.37b13: Luca Elia added Tetris Plus 2 (World?) (Jaleco / The Tetris Company 1997) and clone (Japan). TODO: There is a 3rd unimplemented layer capable of rotation (not used by the game, can be tested in service mode). Priority RAM is not taken into account. The Japan set doesn't seem to have (or use) NVRAM and test mode and service coin doesn't work.

- 1st March 2001: Luca Elia sent in a driver for Tetris Plus 2.
