- SOURCES -

Game's ROM.

MAME Info:

0.120u1 [David Haywood]

0.68 [Jarek Burczynski]

WIP:

- 0.135u2: Volker Hann and Team Europe added clone 'Cannon Ball (bootleg on Crazy Kong hardware) (set 3, no bonus game)'. Changed description of clone 'Cannon Ball (bootleg on Crazy Climber hardware, set 1)' to 'Cannon Ball (bootleg on Crazy Kong hardware) (set 1, buggy)' and 'Cannon Ball (bootleg on Crazy Climber hardware, set 2)' to 'Cannon Ball (bootleg on Crazy Kong hardware) (set 2, buggy)'.

- 0.120u1: Documented information about the various Cannonball sets [Stephane Humbert]. Changed Cannon Ball (Pacman Hardware) to parent set. Changed description of 'Cannon Ball (Crazy Climber hardware)' to 'Cannon Ball (bootleg on Crazy Climber hardware, set 1)' and 'Cannon Ball (set 2)' to 'Cannon Ball (bootleg on Crazy Climber hardware, set 2)'. Added dipswitches 'Display', 'Lives' and 3x 'Unused'. Removed 'Unknown' dipswitches.

- 0.119u4: Rob Walmsley added color PROMs for clone Cannon Ball (Pacman Hardware). These give some ugly colours, but should be correct.

- 0.119u3: David Haywood added clone Cannon Ball (Pacman Hardware).

- 0.116u2: Changed description of clone 'Cannonball (set 2)' to 'Cannon Ball (set 2)'.

- 0.114u3: Couriersud fixed 'Cabinet' dipswitch.

- 0.110u5: Mamesick cleaned up the Crazy Climber driver, replacing hacks for Cannon Ball with a separate video update callback. This fixed the missing sprites.

- 0.102: Changed description of clone 'Cannonball set 2' to 'Cannonball (set 2)'.

- 0.98u4: Dave Widel added clone Cannonball set 2 (TV Game Gruenberg 1985).

- 0.68: Jarek Burczynski added Cannon Ball (Crazy Climber hardware) (Soft 1985). Some gfx problems (bad ROMs?).

- 31st July 2005: Dave Widel - Andy Welburn found a Cannon Ball running on a Falcon board, this is what it looks like in MAME. Notice the sprites, whole death sequence is ripped from Pac-Man with a face added.

- 10th April 2003: Jarek Burczynski resubmitted the Cannon Ball addition in the Crazy Climber driver.

- 12th March 2003: Jarek Burczynski added Cannon Ball to the Crazy Climber driver.

- 8th January 2003: Jarek Burczynski started working on a driver for Cannon Ball (not the Atari prototype nor the Yun Sung games that have the same name).
