kaitei: MAME ROM Information.

History:

Kaitei Takara Sagashi (c) 1980 Namco.

A boat lowers the player towards the bottom of the screen. Try to avoid the fish or push left or right to fire a harpoon at them. When at the bottom, if you walk over one of treasure caches, you will be lowered into it. Then you will be raised back to the ship (again, avoid the fish).

MAME Info:

0.138u1 [Juergen Buchmueller]

0.78u1 [Juergen Buchmueller]

0.36b16 [Juergen Buchmueller]

WIP:

- 0.141u3: Changed palettesize to 4 colors.

- 0.138u1: Changed 'Kaitei Takara Sagashi (K'K-Tokki)' to parent set 'Kaitei Takara Sagashi'. Renamed (kaitei) to (kaitein) and (kaiteik) to (kaitei).

- 0.133u1: Changed description to 'Kaitei Takara Sagashi (Namco license)'.

- 0.129u4: Changed Custom sound to Gee Bee Custom.

- 0.123u2: Changed palettesize to 5 colors.

- 0.78u1: Nicola Salmoria renamed (kaitei) to (kaiteik) and (kaitein) to (kaitei). I don't recall if this was already discussed, but I believe kaiteik is a prototype developed by a third party and sold to Namco, where it was completely rewritten. Fixed "ball" size in Kaitei, the harpoon in Kaitei no longer looks like a rock. Removed a hack in Warp Warp driver that didn't draw the ball in the bottom left corner. The flyer confirms that the ball is supposed to be there. Changed 'Kaitei Takara Sagashi' to clone 'Kaitei Takara Sagashi (K'K-Tokki)' and clone 'Namco)' to parent 'Kaitei Takara Sagashi'. Added dipswitches 'Lives', 'Bonus' and 'Unused'. Removed 2nd coin slot.

- 0.36b16: Juergen Buchmueller added Kaitei Takara Sagashi (K.K. Tokki 1980) and clone (Namco).

- 24th January 2000: Juergen Buchmueller sent in a driver for Navalone, Kaitei Takara Sagashi and SOS.
