MAME Info:

0.89u5 [Sebastien Volpe]

< Japan >

WIP:

- 0.143u8: Angelo Salese removed deprecat.h usage from Super Real Mahjong P6 driver.

- 0.139u1: Atari Ace removed global variables from Nile ST-0026 sound core.

- 0.136u2: Atari Ace converted Super Real Mahjong P6 to use driver_data structure.

- 0.127u5: Fabio Priuli fixed 'Super Real Mahjong P6' displays black screen, plays two NiLe samples every three seconds over and over again.

- 0.125u9: H0pdmiYX0 fixed NiLe pitch calculation.

- 0.125u7: ST-0026 NiLe (sound) emulation [Tomasz Slanina, R. Belmont]. Added audio to Super Real Mahjong P6.

- 0.120u2: Aaron Giles removed the GAME_NOT_WORKING flag from Super Real Mahjong P6.

- 0.119u2: More srmp6 improvements [686]. Removed sound1 and user3 roms.

- 0.119u1: 686 fixed Super Real Mahjong P6 (Japan) - Game now playable. Added missing user3 and sound1 roms. Changed visible area to 336x240.

- 0.119: Improved graphics and cleaned up driver for srmp6 [David Haywood, Tomasz Slanina]. Removed gfx1 and sound1 roms. Changed visible area to 341x241.

- 9th September 2007: Tomasz Slanina - Super Real Mahjong Part 6 (Seta) das different hardware than srmp5: Main cpu: M68000 and video/sound hw: custom Seta NILE (a bit similar to ST-0016, but lacks Z80 core). Whole gfx is compressed, and decompressed in hardware during DMA transfer. Compression algo is _identical_ as CPS3 one used for 8bpp sprites (special thanks to Haze for spotting similarities). Interesting ... Is cps3 hw designed by Seta engineers? Or maybe it's just well-known runlength compression algo put into silicon ? Driver are very preliminary.

- 0.94u5: Minor update to SRMP6 driver [Sebastien Volpe]: Added dips and updated the memory map. The GFX format on this hardware is still not understood, however the chip used could be related to the ST0016 chip. Added dipswitches 'Coinage', 'Re-Clothe', 'Nudity', 'Difficulty', 'Kuitan', 'Continues', 'Demo Sounds' and 3x 'Unused'.

- 0.89u5: Sebastien Volpe added Super Real Mahjong P6 (Japan) (Seta 1995). TODO: GFX decoding, finish gfx emulation and sound emulation. Are there other games on this 'System S12' hardware?

- 10th February 2003: An anonymous contributor sent in a preliminary driver for Super Real Mahjong Part 6 but it doesn't really work at all.

- 3rd March 2002: Guru - Super Real Mahjong Part 4, 5, 6 and 7 PCB's arrived. Thanks to Gin (from Japan) for the donations.
