MAME Info:

0.35b9 [Nicola Salmoria]

Bugs:

- yamato, yamato2: Original PCB screen shot for reference. Smitdogg (ID 03809)

WIP:

- 0.123u3: Zsolt Vasvari merged Yamato driver with Crazy Climber and cleaned up the video driver, mainly via tilemap conversion. Fixed gfx1 rom address to $2000.

- 0.118u6: Aaron Giles fixed crash after exiting the game.

- 0.102u5: Changed region cpu1 ($f000) to user1. Changed palettesize to 352 colors.

- 17th December 2005: Tomasz Slanina added temporary BG gradient (bad colors/offset). Gradient table are stored in two(?) ROMs. Each table is 256 bytes long: 128 for normal and 128 bytes for flipped screen. Color format is unknown - probably direct RGB mapping of 8 or 16 (both roms) bits. Also table selection source is unknown.

- 18th November 2005: Tomasz Slanina - Trying to add missing background, but colors are guess.

- 0.97u4: ShimaPong added 'Bonus Life' dipswitch.

- 0.69: Angelo Salese removed a graphic rom loading kludge in Yamato, which caused a bad gray square when launching missiles. Also fixed crashes in clone Yamato (World?). Fixed gfx2 roms addresses.

- 0.67: Changed description to 'Yamato (US)' and clone '(set 2)' to '(World?)'.

- 0.35b9: Nicola Salmoria added Yamato (set 1) and clone (set 2), preliminary. TODO: Two ROMs are not used, don't know what they are.

- 27th March 1999: Nicola got correct colors to Yamato.

- 26th March 1999: Nicola decrypted the last old Sega game, Yamato.
