The kingdom of Albereth is under attack from barbarian forces. King Valwyn repelled the barbarians, but was wounded in battle. In search of a place where he could rest and regain his strength, he left the city, but never returned. Now a new hero must rise up and defend his homeland.
The game involves moving the protagonist in real time (day and night) through different terrains, such as forests, towns and dungeons. The character collects basic items, such as health and magic potions, and increasingly powerful weapons as he completes tasks and advances the plot. Conversations are managed by key phrases. Battles involve several types of creature, of which there may be several variations. |
