"Alternative World Games" is an unconventional sports simulation featuring eight quirky disciplines: sack race, boot throwing, pole climbing, running up the wall, balancing a pile of plates, jumping over a river, pillow fight, and pogo bouncing. At the beginning, players enter their names and select a country to represent. A record with the chosen nation's flag is picked from a box, and a parrot places it on a phonograph, playing the national anthem. After all players have registered, they choose which events to compete in, with each sport introduced by an animated depiction. Finally, players can opt for "Competition" or "Practice" before diving into the eccentric challenges.
