| Ascend is a platform game where your goal is to move all ladders upstairs until you reach the top. The screen scrolls upward, hiding the full path at first. Ghosts are the main threat – they kill you on contact, starting off clumsy but becoming smarter as you progress. Blue boxes provide valuable help, as you can push them to block ghosts or use them as platforms to jump higher. Each level has a time limit, and if it runs out, you lose a life. With only three lives, the challenge is to climb as far as possible before the game ends. |
